MECHANIC

We are looking for a qualified MECHANIC with experience and skills in the field.

DUTIES:

  • Work to be performed fully independently
  • Supporting our 3 skilled mechanics in carrying out activities related to the restoration, overhaul, and repairing of classic cars, preparing the car for track races, rebuilding parts, cleaning the car’s exterior and interior, cleaning the workshop, tidying up material and organising.

TASKS INCLUDED IN THE JOB:

  • Availability to carry out technical support internationally (Europe) during vintage car speed competitions or racetrack tests with customers, with possible availability also on weekdays and sometimes even on holidays or weekends
  • Transportation of cars nationally and internationally (Europe) by van (driver’s licence type B)

CORE SKILLS:

  • Detailed and accurate knowledge of car mechanics
  • Knowledge and use of traditional machine tools
  • Fundamental knowledge of mechanical parts
  • Knowledge and skills in labour and tool use

OTHER SKILLS:

  • Ability to work alongside and listen to more experienced workers
  • Willingness to learn
  • Accuracy and tidiness
  • Proven passion for classic cars
  • Ability to adapt to the situation
  • Good knowledge of English (level B2)

MECHANIC-HEAVY-DUTY VEHICLE DRIVER

We are looking for a heavy-duty MECHANIC-DRIVER with driving qualifications, skills and experience.
We are looking for a MECHANIC-DRIVER because we also require a minimum knowledge of mechanics and workshop skills. The job as a driver is not daily or weekly, but is based on events and competitions scheduled during the work year, depending on customer requests.

DUTIES:

  • Carrying out work independently
  • Travelling experience in Italy and abroad with tractor-trailers
  • Experience in loading and unloading tractor-trailers
  • Shadowing by two experienced mechanics included together with an initial explanation of the work by them as they are specialised in carrying out the main activities of our business, such as checking cars, repairing them, placing cars in storage, setting up the workshop, preparing trucks with cars, cleaning the outside and inside of the car, cleaning the workshop, tidying up material and organising.

TASKS INCLUDED IN THE JOB:

  • Availability to carry out transport across Europe during speed races for classic cars or during deliveries of cars for races on public holidays
  • Transport of cars nationally and internationally (Europe) even with a simple unloading van that can be driven with a B type driver’s licence

CORE SKILLS:

  • C and CE driver’s licence (required to drive a tractor-trailer)
  • Knowledge of car mechanics
  • Excellent and safe knowledge of the tractor-trailer vehicle
  • Knowledge and use of traditional machine tools
  • Readiness and agility in driving the tractor-trailer vehicle
